National Volunteer Week is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers
From 20–26 May 2019, thousands of events will be held across the country to say thank you to the 6 million Australians who volunteer their time. The week-long celebration will include breakfasts, morning/afternoon teas, and luncheons, as well as open days, award ceremonies, picnics, forums and training sessions.
Volunteering Queensland is also excited to announce the new theme: Making a world of difference.
This years’ theme highlights the significant impact of volunteers. This year we also celebrate the 30th anniversary of National Volunteer Week.
This web portal has everything you need to celebrate volunteering, including resources all aimed at acknowledging the hard work of volunteers and to encourage others to volunteer.
